hen, after your wedding, your dress is cleaned, and put in a box, and sits there for the next 30 years ... Some women want to keep the dress forever, as a memory, or as something they can see their daughter wear. And that's a perfectly understandable desire. It's a special dress.
But if you're wondering what to do with your dress after the wedding, why not consider a Trash The Dress (TTD) session with ARTsnic! TTD is a fun, creative way to wear that wedding dress one more time, and get some fabulous creative photos while you're at it. Think edgy, sexy, alternative photos. We offer TTD sessions in 3 levels - depending on you and how far you want to go for some fab photos!
TTD Mild
We take you to some alternative location - barn, city alley, maybe a night photography session. Your photos are fun, sexy, and definitely different from your wedding day! And your dress is ok at the end of the session - you can still have it cleaned and put it in that box! (no guarantees - just like your wedding day we can't guarantee it won't be damaged, but we certainly don't set out to do it)
TTD Medium
A little more adventurous - you and your dress are probably going to get wet and will definitely be grubby at the end. There's a possibility you can still clean the dress, but there are no guarantees. Sand and salt water tend to be damaging to delicate fabrics! This is the level most brides choose - they can keep their dress (although probably damaged) for the fabulous memories of both their wedding day, and the fun of their TTD session!
TTD Flaming HOT!
Your dress is gone ... but oh .. the photos we will make. Definitely sexy - something alternative maybe - it's limited only by your imagination. Brides have cut their dresses, had their husbands (yay - he's your husband! :) tear the dresses off for an ultra-sexy shoot, even burned them! Or you could just go wild and have fun - a paintball session maybe?
When, Where, How can we Trash Your Dress?
Every TTD session is different, and depends on you! We don't usually do these on your wedding day (I'm always ready to take on an adventurous bride though!) - usually after you return from your honeymoon. Or even years later when you get tired of trying to store that big box. You can do the TTD session alone or as a couple - it's fun to get the guys involved too. Obviously, the session is done at one or more locations of your choosing - if you can't think where you'd like to have your TTD session, just ask us.
